Arch Ray Resort in Fredericksburg, TX

Arch Ray Resort in Fredericksburg, TX, began as a dream. After successfully establishing the Fiesta Winery enterprise, the Baxter and McCoury families decided to expand their horizons into the resort industry. They initially focused on establishing a high-end RV park and tasting room, the Barrel Room, offering Texas wine, beer, and liquor.

William Chris Wine Estate

What began as an acquaintance as winemakers in the Hill Country became a collaboration between William "Bill" Blackmon and Chris Brundrett; one that's based on a shared winemaking philosophy and a vision for what the Texas wine industry is capable of. Bill and Chris agree that great wines are not made, but grown in the vineyard. They also believe that wine should be inspired by the pleasure that is shared with an extended community of friends and family over a bottle. The creation of each new vintage depends greatly upon these two priorities.

Today, William Chris Vineyards continues to reach for a level of quality that represents the very best of Texas in each new vintage. It is with confidence in our process and pride in our team, community, and the special place we call home, that we inscribe each bottle of William Chris Vineyard's wine with this greeting: We are pleased to share a piece of our world.

Covington Cellars

From the moment David and Cindy started Covington Cellars they dreamt of one day having a vineyard, but growing grapes doesn?t happen in Seattle. Vinifera grapes need lots of sun, dry soil, and drainage. So, they knew they?d have to move to make that dream a reality.

In the early years they assumed that one day they?d move to Walla Walla, WA - and in fact, they have a property in the Rocks District of the Walla Walla Valley. But as Cindy watched the Texas Wine industry grow over the last several years, she became more and more convinced that a wine life in Texas was for them. So back home she went.

 In 2018, her and David finally found their new vineyard home and purchased 52 acres in the Texas Hill Country.
