Stephen Phillips
General Manager
Mr. Phillips has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, and has worked for The Dominion Golf Group since 2010.  His experience in the field has been proven over the years with outstanding results from companies such as Club Corporation of America, Coble Stone Golf Group, Arnold Palmer Golf Management, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.  Mr. Phillips attended Texas Tech University where he majored in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management. 


Kelly Thompson 
Membership  Director
Kelly joined The Dominion Country Club in January,1996 in a dual role as administrative assistant to the golf course superintendent and Club ownership.  Throughout her tenure, Kelly has supported the accounting department and assisted with golf tournament sales. Kelly served as the Member Relations Director from 2008-2016, building a solid foundation of Member relationships and successful Club events.  In her present role as the Membership Director, Kelly continues to rely on her strong Member relationships to help maintain a thriving Membership roster! 


Franck Mannechez
Operations Manager
A veteran of the Private Club industry with over twenty years of experience, Franck is happy to continue providing the experience and service  Dominion Country Club Members expect and deserve. Franck's experience includes opening and managing  La Gloria, here in San Antonio.


John R. Powell
Service Director

John has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, spending most of his time in College Station, Texas where he lived for 10 years. He has worked at two private clubs in College Station; Miramont Country Club and Traditions Club.  John brings with him a passion for learning and sharing knowledge and looks forward to serving the Membership at The Dominion Country Club. 

Jasmin Gutierrez
Catering Director 

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jasmin has over 16 years’ experience in the hospitality and events industry. Throughout her career, Jasmin has planned over 4,000 events ranging from small executive meetings to galas and weddings. Jasmin has a passion for learning,  sharing knowledge and flawlessly executing special occasions, and looks forward to working with Dominion Members to plan their special events! 

   Julie Goodall
Fitness Director
Julie spent the last 5 years at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and Athletics Director. She has also been teaching classes at Lifetime Fitness for over 3 years. Julie began personal training at Gainesville Health & Fitness Center while in college at the University of Florida in 1991. It was truly a life changing experience to have had the privilege of working for Joe Ciruli, a world-renowned expert in the fitness industry, and Ellington Darden, a best-selling fitness author. Both are still respected in the industry. They have instilled a passion for fitness and member wellness that Julie is excited to share with Dominion members.


Barry Mills
Director of Tennis
Barry's has been our Director of Tennis since 1995 and Dominion's Head Professional from 1990.  His experience includes over 30 years as a Division I college and professional player, teacher, and coach. He has directed international junior tennis programs in Europe, was Head Coach of the U.S. Tennis Association Area Training Center in San Antonio, and is the past President of San Antonio's Professional Tennis Association and a board member of the San Antonio Tennis Association.


Tony Miller
Director of Agronomy
Tony has worked for the Arnold Palmer Golf Management Group, The Woodlands Resort and Country Club, Tour 18 Properties, The Memphis National Golf Club and Paloma Golf Group. He has a degree in turf grass management from Michigan State University.

Dane Foley
Golf Course Superintendent
Dane began his golf course management career in 2008 at The Quarry Golf Club as the Assistant Superintendent.  After three years as The Dominion’s Assistant, Dane was promoted to Golf Course Superintendent.  Dane leads an experienced team who all work diligently to provide superior golf course conditions, tournament ready at all times. 


Jay Nash
Executive Chef
Jay's experience includes working in Austin as a chef with Austin Micro Brewers, Barton Creek Country Club, and River Place Country Club. Previously, he was a chef in New York and Minnesota after attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
