The Dominion Country Club is set among rolling ranchland and majestic live oaks, just minutes from downtown San Antonio. Situated along the banks of Leon Creek, the golf course incorporates 25 acres of man-made lakes created to enhance the area's natural beauty. The course employs The Dominion's unique tee-off system, labeled the "4-Tee Challenge System" by course designer and former PGA Tour player Bill Johnston. Four separate and strategically located tees on each hole both challenge and reward players of varying skills. With this distinctive system, the course length can range from 5,400-7,000 yards, depending upon the skills of the individual player.

The Dominion has played host to a Senior PGA tour for 17 years, earning the distinction of being the longest consecutive host of a Senior Tour event. The Dominion also hosted the "Texas Hill Country Classic" a Duramed Futures Tour event, bringing in both LPGA and Futures Tour players from around the world.

Recently added in 2012 to the Dominion accolades, was the honor of receiving the prestigious "Platinum Award" from the "Association of Golf Merchandisers", for America's "best of the best" top 100 pro shops!
