Tony Miller - Golf
Course Superintendent
Education
Michigan State University,
Turf Management Degree.
Class A Superintendent since
1993.
I am extremely proud to be
the Superintended at the Dominion Country Club. My career has
specialized in high-end golf course management, including both
operations and construction. The most recent golf course
management included overseeing five high-end, private golf courses
with multi-million dollar operational and capital expense budgets
annually.
I am highly
trained to manage turf grass for the best players in the world.
Over the years I have worked with some of the best players and course
designers in the industry including Mr. Nicklaus, Mr. Palmer and Mr.
Player. I have had the honor of preparing courses for four
nationally televised events – the Pro Stakes, two Shell Houston
Opens and one Samsung World Championship.
I pride
myself in my knowledge of and experience with TifEagle greens and
continue to educate myself in the latest techniques, products and
experiences from throughout the industry. Our team at The
Dominion prides itself in being organized, efficient and productive
which are key elements in producing an exceptional golf experience
here at the Club.
My wife Kelly and I have
two children, Alexis and Logan, and currently reside in Boerne.
I love golf and play to a 12 handicap and also enjoy hunting and
fishing.
