POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Golf guest privileges are granted to Full Golf Category Members Only.

1. All guests must be registered with The Golf Center.

2. Members may entertain no more than four (4) guests on any weekend or holiday.

3. All guests of a Member must be accompanied by that Member unless there are extenuating circumstances that are approved in advance by the Golf staff.

4. A guest whose principal place of residence is in Bexar County or a County contiguous to Bexar County may be invited to use the golf facilities of the Club one time per month at the regular fee. This fee will continue to double for additional rounds in the same month. The second and additional round a guest plays golf in the same calendar month, regardless of being sponsored by a Member, the fee will double and will continue to double each time the guest plays until a new month begins.

5. A Sports Member of The Club may play golf, provided said Member pays a guest fee. The guest fee shall double each time the Sports Member plays additional rounds during the month. A Sports Member cannot play on a weekend or any other day which is restricted by the Head Golf Professional.

6. House guests (those who live outside a radius of fifty (50) miles of The Club) may play golf as long as they are valid guests at a Member’s residence. This latter group must be registered by the Member at the Business offices of The Club and will pay the appropriate guest and cart fees each time they play golf.

7. Members’ children under eighteen (18) years of age are not permitted to have guests unless accompanied by a Member or unless permission is secured from the Head Golf Professional.

8. Guests may not play golf prior to 10:00 am. on Saturday.

9. Members are responsible for informing their guests of the proper dress codes and conduct.

10. Payment of guest fees permits play for that round only.

11. Junior players (those under eighteen [18] years of age) may not begin play between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., on weekdays and not before 12:00 Noon, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, except at the discretion of the Head Golf Professional. Junior players shall give strict adherence to the rules of golf etiquette.

12. Junior players with a posted handicap of sixteen (16) or less may be exempt from the starting time restrictions above with the permission of the Head Golf Professional.

13. Junior players are not eligible to compete in men's or ladies’ Club tournaments.

14. Junior players are not eligible to compete in men's or ladies’ Club tournaments.

15. For the enjoyment of all players and to maintain the integrity of The Club, the following is a description of appropriate golfing attire. Should a Member or guest be unsure about a particular article of clothing, please call the Golf Center and speak to a golf professional. These requirements apply to the course and all practice areas, including the practice putting green.

A. Gentlemen: Shirts with collars and sleeves, golf slacks or golf shorts, traditional golf shoes with non-metal "soft" spikes; flat soled shoes are also acceptable.

B. Ladies: Golf skirts, slacks, or Bermuda length shorts with golf shirt; traditional golf shoes with non-metal "soft" spikes; flat-soled shoes are also acceptable.

C. Athletic shorts, denim clothing, tennis skirts, cut-offs, halter or swim tops, tee-shirts and jogging suits are not permissible golf attire.
